Town Bridge Lifting Times (All times local)

Weymouth Town Bridge opens two hourly from 0800-1800 during winter routine (Sept – April) and from 0800 – 2000 or 2100 during the summer routine (April – Sept), full times can be seen below.

During winter routine vessels must give 1 hours notice if they wish to book a bridge lift. Bookings for bridge lifts can be arranged by calling VHF Channel 12, or by telephoning +44 (0)1305 838423 (answerphone when not manned).

Mariners must observe and conform to bridge navigation lights and the instructions of bridge operators at all times. Town Bridge navigation traffic lights are different from and should not be confused with Pierhead traffic signals.

During this period a minimum of 1 hours notice is required for all bridge lifts.
